Jadi perbedaannya terletak pada kecepatan mencetaknya, printer dengna spesifikasi 8 ppm hanya bisa mencetak hingga 8 kertas per menit, sementara printer dengan spesifikasi 15 ppm bisa mencetak hingga 15 kertas per menit (lebih kencang yg printer 15 ppm) Jika printer dengan kecepatan 15 ppm dipakai untuk mencetak sebanyak 356 halaman (otomatis hasilnya jadi 356 kertas), maka lama waktu mencetaknya adalah:
